Registration positions Greno for work with global aerospace and defense partners covered by US Munitions List (USML)
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
September 25, 2017
Greno Industries has registered with the US Department of State/Directorate of Defense Trade Controls for compliance in International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) Part 122.
ITAR registration is a key component of Greno’s continuing expansion as a supplier of precision machine parts to the domestic and international defense and aerospace industries. Earlier this month, the Schenectady County company announced AS9100D certification for aerospace manufacturing. The AS9100D achievement follows an intensive third-party audit of its Quality Management Systems, from production to payables.
ITAR registration meets the requirements for Greno to manufacture and export precision parts for defense contractors covered by the United States Munitions List (USML). In addition to registering with the DDTC, Greno self-certifies that it understands and abides by the myriad provisions of ITAR.
